Battle Rides: Jam is a redux version of Battle Rides: Duel (AppStore), made in a week for the #RemakeJam.
Controls:
Player 1 (Movement) - WASD
Player 1 (Powerups) - HJKL
Player 2 (Movement) - Arrow keys
Player 2 (Powerups) - Numpad 1234
Battle Rides is a competitive car battle game for 2 players, set in a post-apocalyptic Earth in which fighting to the death with heavily-armed cars has turned into a national sport, the carmachia.
Battle Rides is all about controlling space in the tight arena, being able to make the right choices quickly and adapting when things don't go as planned. Using an assorted arsenal of missiles, machineguns, shock-shields, landmines, nitrous and repair kits, you gotta blow your opponent's car to ashes and be the champion of the arena.
The original Battle Rides: Duel provided amazing car dogfights for two friends playing face to face with an iPad. It's been our dream to remake it for PC since then, with better usability and improved graphics. #RemakeJam was the perfect place to start making that dream a reality :)
Jam diversifiers:
- 1996: Change the game from 2D to 3D or vice versa
- Accessible: Game plays well on low-end machines or browsers.

The fact that the cars can get stuck with each other and dance like ballerinas made the game funnier. xD
The cars had too much health, in my opinion, the rounds felt a bit too long.
Wow! Wouldn't expect any less from you guys.
